Something sneaky about this fuel deal.I'm thinking that some of obumbum's friends in the middle east may be lowering the price,because they know that he won't drill for oil if he gets in,and then they can raise it up higher.Then again I'm not smart about how that works either.

One of the grocery stores here is offering some kind of gas rebate by using a special card. You spend so much & receive so much credit off at gas at a certain major gas station. I never have really shopped there nor use that gas station and do not plan to just because.

hey i saw $2.83 at quik trip on campbell south of james river, on the way home from the office. no rebates, just pay for it.

It's 2.97 at the Bonner Quicktrip (still feels wierd saying Bonner Quicktrip). Think Wood's up by Walmart is the same.. It's 2.94 at my husbands stomping ground up in North Town. The Gladstone 7-11 is CHEAP!

But, yah, I agree with whoever said something sneaky is going on here. This is the cheapest gas in what? Two years? Now, I know some of it has to do with a less than destructive hurricane season, but what else is it? I smell oddness in dee air. :?

According to some friends of mine in their 60's, this always happens before an election. Don't ask me how, but that's what they're saying. This price drop is supposed to ease America's mind about the Repubs currently in office and therefore encourage us to vote Repub again. That's the theory (from my Republican friends; weird, I know). Who knew the government was actually selling us fuel all along? I know they have a bunch of banks now, but I thought they mostly stayed out of the free market.

Heard it was 2.72 out in Gladstone today. This is a good thing. Every day, my husband says it won't drop any lower. Almost every day it does. I tell him-Keep Saying That! I think it's working!!!

In my area the gas station closest to my house had it for $2.89 this morning. The rest of town was $2.99 to $3.05. As I got closer to work it was as high as $3.39!!!
10 to 16 cents more with in one mile and 50 cents difference 20 miles away!!! That is ridiculous!!!!!

I payed $2.18 a gal today...26 cents a gal off at the Cosentino's price chopper. I pays to drive from edwardsville to shawnee for groceries.

$2.58 is the cheapest I have filled up on at Murphy's.
I have seen on the news that a few places in my area have gone as low at $2.35 a gallon. The local average is $2.70.

$2.25 in NKC this morning and I thought that was pretty good.

OPEC won't let it get get much lower. They are already talking about cutting production. Nothing like having control over supply and demand.

My exhusband called me today & said it was $2.13 in KY.
It is $2.49 where I live and $2.63 not to far from my office.

$2.05 in North KC this morning.

Just checked and $2.039 in springfield tonight ...... and $2.099 in tulsa where i'm at tonight and will be $2.199 in houston tomorrow when i arrive.

I bet the car companies are freaking out. They've just finished making all their low mpg cars and rolled out all the new commercials trying to get people to buy expensive new cars that save money at the pump in the long run. Now gas is cheap, but everyone's freaking out about the economy and they can't afford new cars. Lol.

The ones freaking out are the ones that locked in their heating oil price above $4 a gal back east. They thought it may go above $6 so they were "smart".

I kid you not....it was on tv....but I saw a local gas station with gas at $1.96
per gallon !
